'Get Out's Jordan Peele to Executive Produce HBO's New Series 'Lovecraft Country'

Who could do it better!

HBO is working to adapt Lovecraft Country, a 2016 horror science fiction novel written by Matt Ruff into a television series, and they already have plenty of esteemed artists attached to the upcoming project.

Recently Michael Kenneth William (The Wire) has been hired to portray the main protagonist father, Montrose Turner. Jordan Peele (Get Out), J.J Abrams (The Force Awakens) and Misha Green (Underground) will all be producing the high-profile drama series.

Ruff's book uses fantasy, science and horror to discuss racism in the United States under Jim Crow . Yann Demange will direct the first episode. TV Line tell says the the rest of the cast includes "Wunmi Mosaku  as hustler Ruby Baptiste, Aunjanue Ellis (Quantico) as George’s wife Hippolyta Berry, Jamie Harris  as country sheriff Eunice Hunt, and Elizabeth Debicki as Christina Braithwhite, the only daughter of Samuel Braithwhite, the leader of a secret order calling themselves the “Sons of Adam.”

There has been no further information in when the series will premiere, but I think its safe to say HBO won't disappoint!
