Your Favorite Author May Be Writing A TV Show

More novelists are writing for TV than ever, and we’re not upset about it! As long as they’re writing and publishing books, television adaptations and other projects are special bonuses in our eyes. This year, many of our favorite authors are working on something for the small screen!

According to Electric Literatureauthors such as Neil Gaiman (American Gods), Gillian Flynn (Sharp Objects), Carson Mell (Silicon Valley), and others are all working on adaptations and projects that are coming out in the near future! They’ll be featured on networks like HBO, Starz, AMC, and more including Netflix. They sound like they’re going to be interesting!

Some upcoming series with novelists writing episodes include:

Neil Gaiman for American Gods

David Benioff (The 25th Hour) and DB Weiss (Lucky Wander Boy) for Game of Thrones
