With IT: Chapter Two scaring up theaters, another Stephen King adaptation has debuted a trailer that is sure to haunt your dreams. And this one calls back to one of King’s most famous stories.
Doctor Sleep, the sequel to Stephen King’s The Shining, will be hitting theaters November 8th. Taking place several years after the events of the original novel, the story follows an adult Danny Torrance as he tries to recover from the trauma that he experienced from his father in the Overlook Hotel. Still haunted by his “shine” power, Danny encounters a young teenager who also shares this ability. When the young girl is hunted for her powers, Danny finds himself drawn back to the hotel and the ghosts of his past.
