Calling all ‘Game of Thrones’ and social media fans! I mean, don’t the two go hand-in-hand?
‘Game of Thrones’ has recently unleashed the fury that is the Night King. The HBO hit fantasy show now has the face of the 13th Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch on Facebook video effects. The recognizable character is taking social media by (snow)storm and it’s got us seeing blue.

The show’s talented composer Ramin Djawadi was one of the first to be tweeted by the GOT Twitter page with the new effect. Along with a copious amount of ecstatic fans. Click the link below to see the chilling transformation.

All you have to do is:
1. Go to your Facebook app.
2. Hit the camera icon in the top left corner of your home page.
3. Tap the wand to scroll through the filters.
4. Find the GOT tab and BOOM. You’re a white walker!
It seems only right that ‘Game of Thrones’ would create this filter to be used all weekend long. Fans may be feeling bereft due to the season 7 finale yesterday. Social media has been overflowing with reviews and reactions and the tweets are rolling in. The show’s success has snowballed (pun definitely intended) over the past six years and fans have to start facing the truth. They may be facing a series finale next year, which is expected in 2018 or 2019. So far the epic ending seems to have been everything viewers could ask for.
Even though season 7 has come to a close, the GOT fandom shouldn’t fret. They’ve got the Night King for a while. And anyway…
Winter isn’t here just yet.
