Broad City’s Abbi Jacobson is writing an essay collection and we’re so here for it.
Picked up by Grand Central Publishing, Jacobson’s essays about a road trip across the country titled I Might Regret This will be published October 30th of this year. Described as a modern female version of Jack Kerouac’s On The Road, Jacobson spent the road trip alone, facing resistance from her friends and family, trying to separate herself from work and in need of solitude.
In I Might Regret This, Jacobson contemplates some of life’s biggest questions and ponders on the worst possible scenario in which she could run into her ex and how she could and should tuck in her shirts.
When asked about the book on Entertainment Weekly, Jacobson said,
This collection of essays terrifies me. I drove across the country last summer to find some silence, and I ended up saying more than I ever have.
