The Women’s March that took place on January 21st is the largest peaceful protest in US history. In 82 countries around the world, over 5 million people marched for the common cause of maintaining, and progressing, women’s rights. Women, men, and children of all ages and creeds came together. In order to document the march, ABRAMS publisher has partnered with Getty Images to publish a book of pictures.
WHY I MARCH: Images from the Women’s March Around the World, will be “a photographic tribute to the largest peaceful demonstration in history.”
