The trailer, which was released by Warner Bros. UK, includes a brief introduction from stars Emilia Clarke and Sam Claflin.
In the preview, we see Will (Claflin, The Hunger Games) stepping out into a London street, where he is struck by a car and paralyzed. Louisa (Clarke, Game of Thrones) appears next, agreeing to take a job as Will’s caretaker.
The two don’t get along at first: Will is embittered by his circumstances, and he doesn’t have much time for the “chatty” caretaker who is charged with helping him. But, inevitably, love blooms between the two characters – only to encounter another setback when Will seems to lose his drive to keep living.
Fans of Jojo Moyes’ book know what happens after that, but the rest of us will have to wait until June 3, when the movie hits theaters. Of course, if you can’t wait that long, you have plenty of time to read the book!
