During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, WandaVision star Elizabeth Olsen appeared with host Jimmy Fallon in a parody of the hit Disney+ series. The sketch, entitled FallonVision, moved from decade to decade just like the show with ever-changing sets, opening credits, and costumes sported by both Olsen and Fallon to match with the different time periods.
Olsen’s role in the sketch was different than in WandaVision as she was the one slowly coming to the realization that their world was fake. Fallon, who was taking on Wanda’s role, didn’t want to hear it. The sketch revealed that the host created the alternate reality as he was having trouble coping with the current pandemic and how he is currently filming without a live studio audience as a result.
However, not everything was as it appeared to be. The last scene revealed in true WandaVision fashion that is was Kathryn Hahn all along! Cue iconic villain theme music!
Later on during her actual interview, Olsen was asked about the future of her character as Wanda will next been seen in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness after WandaVision ends. Olsen revealed that the show serves as “a complete tee-up” for the direction her character goes in the Doctor Strange sequel.
The finale of WandaVision will be available for streaming on Disney+ tomorrow.
