Her friends call her Kitty, you can call her Katherine Song Covey. Deadline reports that Netflix is developing a spin-off TV series based off the successful To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before trilogy featuring the youngest of the Covey sisters.

The currently untitled romantic comedy series will reportedly follow Kitty on her journey to find true love. Anna Cathcart, who played Kitty in the To All The Boys trilogy, is on board to reprise her role in the potential project. Jenny Han, the author of the To All The Boys books, will reportedly serve as the creator, writer, and executive producer on the series as well. Han is also co-writing the script for the pilot alongside Siobhan Vivian.

Kitty played a very important role in the series as she was arguably the catalyst for the entire thing. In the first film, she was the one who sent out all the love letters her older sister, Lara Jean, had ever written. From there, Lara Jean and the internet’s boyfriend, Peter Kavinsky, began fake dating before eventually entering into a real relationship. The rest, as they say, is history.

The last film in the series, To All The Boys: Always and Forever, saw Kitty in a long-distance relationship with a boy she met while in Seoul. No word yet on who may be her new love interest(s) in the spin-off series.

The potential series is being produced by Awesomeness and ACE Entertainment, the same studios who developed the To All The Boys films for Netflix.
