Penguin Random House recently published Comics for a Strange World by Reza Farazmand and it’s amazing. Like, I just started hysterically laughing in the office and could not stop. Amazing. Check it out.
Prose is awesome. It really is. But sometimes you need a little visual aid. And if the art is just right, it can enhance the words big time. Or, in the case of Farazmand’s book, it’s not so much art as it is poorly drawn lines. Then again, aren’t novels just poorly drawn lines? Doesn’t that also describe words? Or people? Or everything in the universe?
