The bone chilling show takes a modern twist to the classic tale. It follows a group of siblings who are left with a heavy burden when tragedy strikes. Years later they are forced to face their childhood trauma, venegeful spirits, and a haunted house. The ten-episode horror series will showcase a few recognizable faces, the cast is led by Michiel Huisman (Game of Thrones), Carla Gugino (Gerald’s Game), Kate Siegal (Hush), Elizabeth Reaser (Ouija: Origin of Evil), Henry Thomas (Gerald’s Game), Timothy Hutton (The Good Shepherd), and Annabeth Gish (X-Files).

The ten-episode horror show will be a limited series, but if it does well Mike Flanagan may be asked for additional seasons to launch on Netflix. It will be added to one of the roster of good horror TV shows alongside treasures like Stranger Things. We are looking forward to the modern TV adaptation and can’t wait to see the changes and horrors that it will hold.
