‘The Boys’ Renewed For Season 3

The Boys, the Amazon Prime original based on the comic book series of the same name written by Garth Ennis and illustrated by Darick Robertson, quickly became a huge success, both with critics and audiences, which is probably why we didn’t have to wait too long for the second season to arrive. With it now only months away, Amazon has tripled down on the superheroes by officially renewing the show for a third season.

Not only did Seth Rogan and Evan Goldberg announce during [email protected] that The Boys has been renewed for yet another season, but the news was also coupled with the reveal that an after-show will be accompanying every episode of season two.

Called Power Rewind: Inside The Boys, the new after-show will be hosted by Aisha Tyler of Whose Line Is It Anyway? fame, who will be interviewing different acts on the show, members of the creative team, and even surprise guest stars, much like the same format of The Talking Dead which was hosted by Chris Hardwick.

Though there’s no telling when season three of The Boys will begin filming, especially during the current pandemic, the early renewal will allow the show runners plenty of time to brainstorm! And check out the sneak peak into season two below!
