In our digital age, many people have turned to social media food influencers for recipes and meal inspiration. Whether you watched a ‘What I Eat in a Day’ TikTok video or tried out a recipe from a blog, you’ve probably engaged with a few food influencers. Some of these influencers have even written their own cookbooks, providing foodies with unlimited access to their delicious meals. Let’s take a look at some of our favorite social media cooks and the books they’ve put out!

Bëtul Tunç (@turkuazkitchen)

Bëtul Tunç is a Turkish chef who gained a large social media following due to her gorgeous creations, vintage aesthetic, and use of traditional cooking supplies. In an interview with The New York Post, Tunç explained that after moving to the United States from Turkey, cooking and baking helped her feel less lonely. Her husband encouraged her to post online, which resulted in her account skyrocketing during the pandemic. On top of posting her recipes online, Tunç also has a blog where she shares updates about her personal life, gift guides, and more recipes!

In November 2024, she released Turkuaz Kitchen: Traditional and Modern Dough Recipes for Sweet and Savory Bakes. The cookbook is a guide to baking with dough and incorporating it into everyday meals. Turkuaz Kitchen reached #2 on the New York Times Best Seller List and #8 on USA TODAY’s Best-Seller booklist. It has been praised for its comprehensive guide to doughs and personal anecdotes by many reviewers.

Hannah Taylor (@lilyloutay)

Hannah Taylor is a cook from Georgia who has a large social media presence due to her sweet demeanor, easy-to-follow recipes, and charming relationship content. Taylor’s sweet and savory recipes are rooted in her Southern culture. Fresh ingredients and rich flavors are her specialty! Taylor’s website features mouthwatering recipes, cute merch, and cooking videos!

Taylor’s Measure with Your Heart: Southern Home Cooking to Feed Your Family and Soul: A Cookbook is coming out on October 21, 2025. The cookbook features recipes for 100 southern-style, comforting meals made completely from scratch. In Measure with Your Heart, Taylor provides guides for making just about everything, including drinks, appetizers, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. B. Dylan Hollis (@bdylanhollis)

B. Dylan Hollis is a Bermudian-American social media chef. According to a Publishers Weekly interview, he rose to fame during the pandemic when he tried a vintage Pork Cake recipe and posted it on TikTok. The video went viral, and Hollis’s unique knack for trying out unusual vintage recipes has attracted a large social media audience since then. Hollis’s creativity and fame have landed him amazing opportunities like an interview on the Kelly Clarkson Show, articles on the New York Times, and a talk at Google.

In Hollis’s first cookbook, Baking Yesteryear: The Best Recipes from the 1900s to the 1980s, he spotlights the best recipes throughout the decades. The cookbook achieved rampant success and was on the New York Times Best Sellers list for eight consecutive weeks. Hollis just recently released his second cookbook, Baking Across America: A Vintage Recipe Road Trip, where he takes readers through a culinary tour of the United States via vintage recipes. Kimberly Villalobos (@kimmyskreations.1)

Kimberly Villalobos is a social media cook from New York, famous for her creative, tasty, and comforting Southern recipes. In a little over four years, Villalobos has gained four million TikTok followers and three million Instagram followers. Her success is also attributed to her funny, sassy, and family-oriented personality. As well as posting her delightful creations on social media platforms, she also has recipes, cooking classes, and merch available on her website.

Earlier this year, Villalobos re-released her cookbook Aight Bye to include five more recipes. From appetizers to desserts, this cookbook includes recipes for all occasions! She also has an e-book called Feed Them Kids. This version includes 19 recipes that kids will love.

Nagi Maehashi (@recipe_tin)

Nagi Maehashi is an Australian cook and business owner. Her content has grown very viral due to her use of everyday ingredients and foolproof recipes. Her delicious recipes are posted on her social media pages as well as her website. She also runs a food bank non-profit organization during the pandemic, when a lot of people in Sydney were facing food insecurity.

Maehashi’s first cookbook, Dinner, features over 130 dinner recipes complete with sides and sauces to make your dinner extra special. Her recipes range from quick and easy meals for weekdays to intricate, festive meals for special occasions. Her second cookbook, Delicious Tonight, has a focus on meals that you can make tonight with ingredients you most likely already have!

Dan Pelosi (@grossypelosi)

Dan Pelosi is an Italian cook living in New York. Like many of the other food influencers we have mentioned, Pelosi’s fame erupted during the pandemic due to more people cooking at home and searching for recipes. He now posts comforting Italian-American recipes made from fresh ingredients. Aside from recipes, Pelosi also has merch, guides, and a membership-based online community available on his website.

Pelosi’s first book, Let’s Eat: 101 Recipes to Fill Your Heart & Home, was released in 2023 and was an instant success. The cookbook, which features Italian-American recipes and personal memories, was a New York Times Bestseller.
