Back in May 2015, Chris Martin and the rest of Coldplay got together and created ‘Game of Thrones: A Musical,’ a piece of musical theatre that I would pay good money to see live, on or off Broadway. The made-for-YouTube masterpiece, currently at 27 million+ views, benefitted Red Nose Day, a fundraising campaign started by Comic Relief to end child poverty.
“This is the best idea we’ve ever had,” said Martin. I agree, though some of the cast didn’t. But really, when has a play, show, or movie needed a positive review from critics to become a cult classic?
Narrated by Liam Neeson and featuring a good part of the now-dead cast, this clip might be old news but its impact is timeless.
Hope you enjoyed that! Oh, who are we kidding? Of course you did.
