‘Stranger Things’ Season Four “Better Than Ever” Due to Pandemic

Everyone’s favorite Netflix original monster series, Stranger Things, is coming back for its fourth season, and it’s expected to be better than ever due to the extra time allowed from the pandemic.

When production for Stranger Things, season four, had paused at the start of the pandemic, the already uncontrollable anticipation for more of Hawkins’ horrific yet addicting trials was inevitably dragged out. But even though we must now wait longer to find out the answers to those questions that are eating us alive – will Eleven regain her powers, where is Dr. Brenner, and IS HOPPER ALIVE?! – don’t get beside yourself yet (or upside-down, rather), because it seems that at least one good thing happened from paused production. The extra time is exactly what the Duffer Brothers, creators and writers of the series, needed to increase the stakes and pack a mischievous punch!

“I’ll just say the pandemic definitely massively delayed shooting and therefore the launch of our current Season 4, date still TBD. But it impacted very positively by allowing the Duffer brothers, for the first time ever, to write the entire season before we shoot it and to have time to rewrite in a way that they rarely had before so the quality of these screenplays are exceptional, maybe better than ever,” said Stranger Things Producer, Shawn Levy.

Filming has resumed and, though we’re not sure when the series will drop or exactly what it will entail, we can expect a monstrously satisfying season four when we finally reunite with those Hawkins kids (now teens).
