Stephen King Debuts a Chilling Children’s Book

Stephen King, master of horror, has unveiled a children’s book! The story is published under the pseudonym, Beryl Evans, who is a character in King’s novel, The Waste Lands, part of the Dark Tower series. The Dark Tower series will be a feature film in 2017 starring Idris Elba.

Charlie the Choo-Choo was debuted at San Diego’s Comic-Con. Who would have thought that King would go this route? It’s just as creepy as we’d expect! Is it really good for kids?

According to Coming Soon, “The book follows the adventures of Engineer Bob, who has a secret: His train engine, Charlie the Choo-Choo, is alive…and also his best friend. Charlie the Choo-Choo is a story about friendship, loyalty, and hard work.”
