Stan Lee’s Final Project to Be Published as a Novel

Stan Lee left behind an amazing legacy of comic book characters when he passed away last year at the age of 95. One of his projects is about to be released in the form of a novel.

Being classified as Lee’s first novel for “adult readers”, A Trick Of Light is about the friendship between Cameron and Mia. Cameron is a boy who has the ability to manipulate technology after a freak accident, and Nia is a hacker and coding genius with a mysterious past. The two must band together to use their abilities to stop global annihilation.

In addition to an Audible version releasing on June 27th (narrated by Grown-ish star Yara Shahedi), a physical version will be available this September.

The book will be published by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. The publisher describes the book as an epic adventure that fits right into Lee’s signature voice:

“When Stan Lee passed away last fall, the world lost a genius whose fountain of creativity kept flowing to the very end. We are so grateful that one of his final projects was his first-ever novel for adult readers, and we are proud and excited to be publishing it this fall.”

A Trick Of Light will be released on September 17th.
