Robert Pattinson’s ‘The Batman’ Pushed to 2022

Robert Pattinson fans were ecstatic to learn that he’d be starring in The Batman. However, their anticipation will have to hold out a little longer, as Warner Bros. has delayed the release date from October first, 2021 to March fourth, 2022 due to the Corona Virus pandemic. Matt Reeves’ adaptation had begun filming in early 2020 and shut down in March like countless other productions. Unfortunately, a second shut down is what has caused this further delay, as a Covid-19 outbreak was discovered on-set.

Although its creation has been a bit stilted, fans can expect great things from the DC icon in The Batman, as proven by a killer trailer for DC FanDome made with just twenty five percent of the film’s footage! Also included in this cast are Zoë Kravitz as Cat Woman, Colin Farrell as the Penguin, Paul Dano as the Riddler, Jeffrey wright as Commissioner Gordon, and Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth.
