Reading thrillers, horrors, or gothic novels is the spirit of October. I have compiled a list that can be used to read a Stephen King Novel, R.L Stine, and even Charlotte Bronte.

1. Atmospheric Gothic Horror Reading Music

This has eerie sounds of piano playing in the background. Along with some songs of violin playing and the cello. This can be listened to while reading Jane Eyre or The Black Cat.

This music is composed by Peder B. Helland. Giving you sounds of creepy howling, laughs and a few gusts of wind. This brings out the natural side of what makes Halloween scary and ominous.

Being in a haunted mansion causes shivers down one’s spine. The ambience includes the organ playing, creaking of doors, and the piano.

5. Creepy Circus & Carnival Music

If you’re reading a book having to do with creepy clowns or even taking place at an amusement park, this playlist is the one for you. It incorporates different carnival theme songs, the laughter of clowns, and the organ playing in the background. You’ll feel as if you are stepping right up to play a carnival game.
