Practice Makes Perfect by Sarah Adams
Now, I love a good pink cover, but what’s inside this book is even better.
In this wonderful book, we meet Annie Walker. This small-town sweetheart wants to find her perfect match, so she recruits the sexy bodyguard, Will Griffin — the emotionally unavailable bad boy who is secretly a teddy bear inside. The hot, tattooed hunk of muscle returns to Rome, Kentucky, to guard Annie’s older brother’s superstar fiance. Read on to find out how these two try to prevent their feelings but are faced with an undeniable connection that you’ll be dying to read on about.

It Happened One Summer by Tessa Bailey
Piper Bellinger, as fashionable and influential as she may seem, has a little too much fun, causing her stepfather to send her to the small town of Westport to learn how to be responsible by running her late father’s dive bar. Being in such a small town, the socialite ends up bumping into Brendan, who is the total opposite of her. Piper refused to be distracted, especially by a grumpy fisherman who is at sea for weeks on end. Something about relearning about her past and the people in the town starts to make Piper feel at home, but is that really what she wants? Leave LA’s fame and fortune for the cold Washington town?
Find out by reading the amazing duology, and be sure to read the sequel!

Daughter of the Pirate King by Tricia Levenseller
This awesome book blends romance, adventure, and pirates. Seventeen-year-old Alosa is sent on a mission to find an ancient map that holds the key to a trove filled with treasure. She purposefully gets captured by her enemy, so she gains the chance to search their ship for clues.
Alosa’s only thing in the way? The smart and attractive first mate of the enemy’s ship — Riden. Read on to find out the secrets this magical world has in store. I can say for sure this duology gave me a new YA couple to obsess over!

The Siren by Kiera Cass
The Ocean takes, but it also gives. This wonderful standalone takes you on a journey to a world of girls who are given a second chance at life as sirens. Kahlen has lived as a siren for many years and is waiting for the time she can regain her life, but when Akinli, a human boy, enters the picture, she can’t help but fall. Suddenly, all the rules she has followed for years seem redundant and irrelevant as she gets to know him.
The journey is memorable and the connection Kahlen and Akinli have is unbreakable. This novel brings to life a new way of looking at mermaids and sirens that I simply couldn’t get enough of. You know those types of books you can read in a day? This is one of them! Read it and find out for yourself!

Each of these books is guaranteed to be a great summer read that you won’t be able to get enough of. From mermaids to flower shops, these books have it all!
