Peacock is bringing a younger Robert Langdon to life with the adaptation of Dan Brown’s The Lost Symbol. Peacock’s official trailer for the series is available to watch above. The prequel to the series that includes Angels & Demons, The Da Vinci Code, and Inferno was written in 2009 and has 200 million copies worldwide.
Ashley Zukerman will star as the young Robert Langdon along with Valorie Curry, Eddie Izzard, Sumalee Montano, Rick Gonzalez, and Beau Knapp. This is the fourth Dan Brown adaptation they have done with this series following The Da Vinci Code (2006), Angels & Demons (2009), and Inferno (2016) all starring Tom Hanks as Robert Langdon.
Technically, The Lost Symbol is the third book in the Robert Langdon series by Dan Brown, but it had been decided to skip over it when making the movies.
Dan Brown is an executive producer along with Dan Dworkin, Jay Beattie, and Ron Howard who directed the first three. Peacock has not announced a release date for the original series, but we’re hoping it’s soon!
