Oprah Reveals Her First Cookbook

With the holidays coming up, we’re scrambling to get our recipes together. Whether you specialize in the main course, the side dishes, dessert or all three, it’s important to know the ingredients. Cookbooks are treasured items in the home and whenever you’re feeling creative, or want to try something new, a cookbook is always there for you.

Oprah Winfrey began her weight loss journey about a year ago with Weight Watchers and now, she’s set to release her very own cookbook!

Winfrey told People Magazine,

“As long as I can remember, I’ve been the kind of person who wants to share the things that make life better. When I come upon something useful, something that brings me pleasure or comfort or ease, I want everyone else to know about it and benefit from it, too. And that is how this cookbook came to be. It’s my life story — the lessons I’ve learned, the discoveries I’ve made — told through food.”

Unfortunately, Food, Health and Happiness: 115 On-Point Recipes for Great Meals and a Better Life won’t be available until January 3rd, but at least we’ll have recipes to last throughout 2017!
