New Tolkien Book Adds to Middle-earth Legendarium

This year was a drag, but 2021 is already proving to be a year full of excitement. Fans of J.R.R. Tolkien are in for a delicious surprise as an untold story comes to light. A new release of Tolkien’s writings will be launching our summer into a whirlwind when the new book titled The Nature of Middle Earth will be published on June 24, 2021 by Harper Collins.

Tolkien’s writing will take us back in time to Middle Earth as we explore elvish immortality and reincarnation, the powers of the Valar, the beasts of Numenor, the geography of the rivers and beacon hills of Gondor, and much more. Tolkien’s unseen writing presents an exciting opportunity for readers, as he dives deeper into the epic world he created so many years ago. With this addition, fans will be able to immerse themselves in the magic and adventure that Tolkien always provided.

Middle Earth was originally brought to the fantasy readers of the world in 1937 when Tolkien published The Hobbit, and continued its legacy in 1954 with The Lord of the Rings. Since then, Tolkien’s fantasy legendarium has captured readers and screenwriters worldwide.

Indiana-based Tolkien fan, Matt Graf, encouraged “escaping to Middle Earth when our world gets a little bit too crazy.” I could not agree more and I, for one, will be counting down the days until Tolkien’s new book is published.
