New ‘Star Wars’ Comics Focusing on Classic Characters Arrives in April

It’s 2019, and that means that we’re getting a brand new Star Wars film this Christmas. With a new film on the horizon, comes new comic books.

 

Marvel Comics has just announced a new series of Star Wars one-shot comics called Age of Rebellion. The nine issue series will debut in April and will run for three months.

 

Each issue will cover a classic character from the original Star Wars trilogy. April will feature Princess Leia and Grand Moff Tarkin, with an anthology issue also scheduled. May will be all about Han Solo, Boba Fett, Lando Calrissian, and Jabba the Hutt. June will conclude the series with Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader.
