Alec Baldwin is writing a memoir about Trump with famous humorist Kurt Anderson and it was released for order on Tuesday.
Baldwin writes as Trump in You Cant Spell America Without Me: The Really Tremendous Inside Story of My Fantastic First Year as President Donald J. Trump, a project inspired by the actor’s parody on SNL which you can laugh at here.

The satirical narrative covers Trump’s first year in office and is set to reflect on the role of satire in the Trump era itself, along with the aim of posing political satire as deeper truth. It will involve Trump trying to be reflective and introspective on a whole 365 days, something I am sure he would struggle doing.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Kurt Anderson said of the writing process ‘fortunately the writing process was short, only three months. Though my wife did complain I became more of a jerk.

The importance of humor during this difficult and invigorating time is something a lot of Americans and people around the world are clinging on to for the 1168 more days that Trump will be the president of the United States. (See countdown here).
Baldwin, however, says he can see past these dark days and commented:
When Trump is gone, I’m going to stand on my corner in Lower Manhattan and scream at the top of my lungs. I’m going to scream a primal scream. Loud.
I wont be far behind you, Alec.
