New ‘Loki’ Poster Revealed Four Weeks Before Series Premiere

With four weeks left until the premiere of Loki, fans of the intelligent and cunning trickster now have more to speculate about until everyone’s favorite God of Mischief appears onscreen again.

Early Wednesday morning, the Loki Twitter account debuted a new poster for the upcoming Disney+ series, featuring Loki (played by Tom Hiddleston), Mobius M. Mobius (Owen Wilson), Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Ravonna Lexus Renslayer), and Wunmi Mosaku (Hunter B-15). The poster also features a whimsical cartoon clock, who might be the Time Variance Authority’s (TVA) mascot, Miss Minutes, according to ScreenRant. Mobius, Renslayer, and Hunter B-15 are all members of the TVA.

ScreenRant also stated that the Loki series is set after the events of Avengers: Endgame, when Loki escapes with the Tesseract. Loki must work with Mobius M. Mobius and the TVA to amend his actions, or risk becoming erased from reality.

IGN reported that Loki will take the series to “an entirely new part of the MCU” since he is expected to appear at random moments in time throughout history, thus likely influencing historical events. The series is also meant to interconnect with the upcoming Doctor Strange movie, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, set to be released on March 25, 2022.

Loki will premiere on Wednesday, June 9th on Disney+. There are six episodes in season one, with each one set to air on Wednesdays following the premiere. Be sure to follow the Loki accounts on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook to stay up-to-date with information about this new series!
