There is an exciting update for fans awaiting the Netflix adaptation of Shirley Jackson’s classic gothic novel, “The Haunting of Hill House.”
As reported earlier this year, Netflix is in the early production stages of adapting “The Haunting of Hill House,” a novel which follows four characters who experience supernatural encounters while vacationing at a summer mansion.
Netflix may have finally filled these roles; Henry Thomas, Elizabeth Reaser, and Kate Siegel have reportedly joined the cast. The actors will act alongside actors Carla Gugino and Michiel Huisman.

While it remains unclear as to which character roles these actors will play, this cast will no doubt provide amazing on-screen chemistry. Thomas and Reaser acted together in in the horror film “Ouija: Origin of Evil” and Siegel and Thomas also acted alongside each other in “Gerald’s Game.”
Though a release date has yet to be announced, the series is sure to be incredible!
Netflix horror originals “Stranger Things” and “Black Mirror” have been met with acclaim from viewers and critics alike this year. If the handling of “The Haunting of Hill House” is anything similar, then the wait will be worth it.
