The National Theatre’s Youtube channel is becoming just as exciting as Netflix these days! The channel already streamed Frankenstein with Benedict Cumberbatch and Jonny Lee Miller which was phenomenal. Now, the channel will be streaming the great William Shakespeare’s Coriolanus starring Tom Hiddleston.

Coriolanus will be among the four new plays that will be released for free throughout May and June. A Streetcar Named Desire starring Gillian Anderson will also be streaming.

Oh and look at that! It’s Dean Thomas from Harry Potter and Mycroft Holmes from Sherlock! Other than Tom Hiddleston, the cast includes some familiar faces such as Alfred Enoch as Titus Lartius and Mark Gatiss as Menenius. Coriolanus was directed by Tim Van Someren.

The dates of these plays are as follows: Barber Shop Chronicles May 14th, A Streetcar Named Desire May 21st, This House May 28th, and finally we have Coriolanus June 4th.

All of these productions will begin at 2:00pm ET on the National Theatre’s Youtube channel. They will be available for a whole week. So do not leave it until it’s too late! It is worth noting that the National Theatre is still accepting donations so their shows can still go on.

We could all use a bit more of Tom Hiddleston in our lives these days.
