Marvel wants to call of the dibs on Keanu Reeves’s next film credits. Everyone on the internet may want to claim ownership of the beloved Keanu, who has become a true man of the people, but none more than Marvel Studios’ Kevin Feige.
“We talk to him for almost every film we make,” Feige told ComicBook.com. “We talk to Keanu Reeves about, I don’t know when, if, or ever he’ll join the MCU, but we very much want to figure out the right way to do it.”

Marvel still has yet to announce its official slate of new films, as well. Huffpost reports that Reeves is rumored to star in The Eternals alongside Angelina Jolie, but Feige won’t be making any confirmations about future films until Spider-Man: Far From Home premieres.
I will say all of the post Comic-Con, post Spider-Man: Far From Home stuff. … Here’s an exclusive. We’re gonna keep making movies. We’re gonna still keep making movies after these two. And we will talk about them soon after Spider-Man: Far From Home comes out.
After the still devastating loss of Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark in Avengers: Endgame, we the people are in dire need of some amazing casting news. However, Reeves is still very busy with his most recent projects. He is currently promoting Toy Story 4, and is set to star in another John Wick film as the hit action series continues to gain popularity.
Reeves did recently express interest in playing Wolverine though.
During a puppy-playing interview that BuzzFeed hosted, Reeves was asked by fans which Marvel or DC superhero he would want to play in the future.
“I don’t know,” said Reeves. “When I was a kid, I always wanted to play Wolverine. So Wolverine.”
