Sales Coordinator

Job Duration: Full Time

Job Location: New York, NY

The Reading Room, one of the fastest growing book discovery platforms with more than 1.5 million members, is seeking a passionate and driven Sales Coordinator for its online advertising and business development initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have impeccable organization and attention to detail, an working knowledge of the book industry, and a strong desire to grow sales.

Responsibilities

·    Research sales opportunities and maintain sales pipeline database

·    Create campaign proposals tailored to the client’s goals, and work with editorial & marketing team to create engaging promotions

·    Manage all sales operations, including gathering assets and monitoring delivery

·    Prepare timely campaign reports for clients

·    Attend sales calls, and assist Sales Director in creating new advertising products that satisfy clients and members

Preferred Qualifications

·    Organized, courteous, and diligent in managing client relationships

·    Creative problem solver in a fast paced start up environment

·    Interest in growing revenue 

·    Mastery of Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel

·    Familiarity with online tools such as Google Analytics, DoubleClick for Publishers, CRM products, Email Marketing, and HTML preferred, but not required

·    Knowledge of trade publishing industry preferred, but not required
