Brotherhood Without Banjos

Looks Like ‘Game of Thrones’ Band Is Heading to a Recording Studio!

Game of Thrones never ceases to amaze us. Whether it’s on-screen, off-screen, or (surprisingly enough) in the music world

Recently, actors Kristofer Hivju, Rory McCann, Iain Glen, and Richard Dormer teamed together for a folk-rock quartet, which Hivju dubbed the Brotherhood Without Banjos.

The four fan favorites stood outside their trailors, decked in armor, ripped furs, and winter jackets while singing harmoniously to ‘I Hope I Don’t Fall In Love With You’ by Tom Waits.

Richard Dormer recently spoke with Digital Spy in regards to his upcoming film Rellik, but of course fans want to get down to (music) business. When asked about the trending video, Dormer called it their way of “blowing off steam” and finding something to do during the long hours between takes.

When asked about a possible album in the near future, Dormer laughed. “Well we all have instruments now, so if I’m in the next season, we’ll be popping down to the studio in Belfast!”

So, what’s harder to wait for? The next season of Game of Thrones or a Game of Thrones spin-off album?

We’ll let you decide on that one. / Via Giphy
