Everyone has a dusty book on their shelf – one that hasn’t been picked up and read in a while. Now imagine libraries filled with old, dusty books that are rarely touched! According to the Library Journal, dust “absorbs moisture, increases acid hydrolysis, and causes a quicker breakdown of valuable resources” and attracts insects! OH NO! THE BOOKS!
The Boston Library seems to have found a solution for the dust bunnies that collect on the books…a book wash! Oracle is an entire company dedicated to cleaning books. It’s like a car wash, minus the water of course. Take a look:
