Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko’s “The Legend of Korra” ended three years ago on the powerful image of Korra holding hands with her partner, Asami, as they walked into a spiritual portal for a romantic getaway. DiMartino is teaming up with artist Irene Koh to continue Korra and Asami’s story where it left off with “The Legend of Korra: Turf Wars.”
The series will follow the duo on their romantic retreat to the Spirit World, but things aren’t going perfectly for the new couple. A new threat looms over Republic City, and will force the gang to get back together. But what fans are most curious about is the blossoming romance between Korra and Asami.
