Following the unexpected success of indie film Ladybird, Beanie Feldstien is onto the next big thing: an adaptation of Caitlin Moran’s 2014 novel, How To Build A Girl. The film will tell the story of 1990’s Johanna Morrigan as she reinvents herself as Dolly Wilde to pursue her dreams of becoming a writer and making a name for herself. Goodreads described it as “The Bell Jar written by Rizzo from Grease.”
