Agatha Christie is arguably one of the best mystery writers of all time. It’s no wonder many of her books have been made into movies. The newest adaptation of Murder on the Orient Express is on its way and it is looking stellar.
The movie stars one of Christie’s most famous detectives, Hercule Poirot. The audience sees Poirot putting his detective skills to good use after a passenger on the Simplon-Orient Express is killed. Poirot knows one of the other passengers is the killer, and he’s determined to find out who.
The film explores the secrets each passenger is holding onto, from the Countess to the doctor to the maid, all while Poirot collects evidence to catch the killer. The trailer does a good job of introducing us to the story’s main players without giving away too much.

The film features a star-studded cast including Penelope Cruz, Johnny Depp, Judi Dench, Willem Dafoe, and Michelle Pfeiffer. The lead role of Poirot is played by Kenneth Branagh, who is also the director. Guess somebody’s a Christie fan!
Murder on the Orient Express opens in theaters on November 10th.
