Their is a special relationship between many authors and the setting in which they live and write. In order to truly understand the works of many writers, one must delve into the geographical context that informs them. Karin Quint and the Gottmer Publishing Group have launched a Kickstarter for a travel guide entitled Jane Austen’s England, which aims to help fans of the brilliant author explore locations that are meaningful to her work.
The Kickstarer page reads:
Do you want to visit the places where Jane Austen wrote her famous novels? Do you want to stand in the spot where Elizabeth Bennet said NO to Mr Darcy in the 1995 Pride and Prejudice BBC-series and the 2005 film? Have you always wanted to picnic on Box Hill, just like Emma Woodhouse? Or take a stroll on the Cobb in Lyme Regis like Anne Elliot and captain Wentworth did?
Then Jane Austen’s England is the travel guide for you!
