Breakfast at Tiffany's

It’s Official: You Can Now Eat Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Darling

I am freaking out right now because I never saw this one coming, but I am glad it did!

I’m not sure if I know of anyone who isn’t a fan of the 1961 film Breakfast at Tiffany’s. It’s a classic adaptation of Truman Capote’s 1958 novella and probably one of the most adored movies in history. Audrey Hepburn was absolute class in that film with her notable Little Black Dress, beautiful pearls, and feathery words that captured us all. We all know that scene where she takes her croissant and coffee to Tiffany’s Fifth Avenue flagship store in Manhattan.

Well, now our dreams have come true! You can actually eat IN Tiffany’s! TODAY. The Fifth Avenue store in New York City has opened its very first dining space.

The Blue Box Café is on the redesigned fourth floor of the store overlooking Central Park and is (of course) decked out in that notable robin’s egg Tiffany blue. And when I say they thought of everything, I mean they thought of everything. From the dining wear to the walls to the chair and menu. This set up is the real deal.

Yes, you can sit there!

Breakfast for $29 consists of coffee or tea, fresh fruits, a croissant, and your difficult pick of a buttermilk waffle, avocado toast, smoked salmon and bagel combo, or truffled eggs. Um…all of it please?

Lunch for $39 will be a soup or salad and your choice of flatbread or poached salmon. I’m available.

Tea time for $49 includes a variety of afternoon tea selections, sweet treats, and finger sandwiches. So lovely.

If you go for your birthday or a joyous occasion of the sort you can get a beautiful cake for $36 that’s shaped like the actual Tiffany box. Because the only thing better than seeing one of those little blue boxes, is being able to eat it.

Yes, darling. This is going to be positively marvelous.
