So many of us have questions about the Big Little Lies finale, and we’re going through withdrawals now that the show is over. If you fell in love with Liane Moriarty‘s thrilling tension and humor, then we have good news…
According to Entertainment Weekly, four more of Moriarty’s novels have been optioned for screen adaptations!
The adaptation of this novel about a barbecue that goes awry will be produced by the same people behind Big Little Lies, actresses Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon! Hopefully, fans of the show will also enjoy this, as both novels have similar themes.
Director David Frankel (Devil Wears Prada) is set to work on this film about a 39-year-old woman who sustains a head injury and loses all memory of the previous decade of her life. She wakes up and believes she’s still newly married with her first child on the way, making her reality more difficult to grasp. According to Moriarty’s publisher Flatiron Books, Jennifer Aniston is in talks to star in the film!
CBS Films optioned the novel for an adaptation in 2013, though no major news on production has been released. This novel follows a woman who finds a mysterious note from her husband that’s only meant to be read when he dies…sounds intriguing!
4) Three Wishes
The film rights to this book were sold years ago. Three Wishes tells of the tumultuous lives of a set of 33-year-old triplets and unfortunately, there hasn’t been any follow-up news about this adaptation, but we’re hopeful.
