Hogwarts’ Rejected House Gets a Voice

There’s no denying it, Hufflepuff has been considered a House for losers for far too long. The name itself implies some kind of weakness or softness in its members. Thankfully, one of the most famous Hufflepuffs out there, Eddie Redmayne, has finally spoken up in defense of this rejected house.

Redmayne rightly asserts that, “They call us boring. They call us beige. They say we’re the nice guys. But you know what? You know what I see in Hufflepuffs? I see loyalty. I see fierce friendship. We are hardworking, we are compassionate, and at the end of the day, we’re going to do the right thing, and not because of the glory. Not because of the glory, but for the greater good.”

Every wizard needs that loyal house to help keep things in control and to defend against Voldemort’s army. Hufflepuffs contributed the 2nd largest number of wizards to the battle of Hogwarts second only to Gryffindor. And, on top of all that, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is a Hufflepuff too!
