HBO’s Set to Release Another ‘Game of Thrones’ Series

Harper’s Bazaar writer Erica Gonzales reports that, not only will we be seeing an adaptation of George R.R. Martin‘s Fire & Blood, but we will also be seeing plans for an HBO adaptation of the Game of Thrones prequel series The Tales of Dunk and Egg. While it has not been confirmed that this series will hit television, it does appear that there are formative plans for this series. It is rumored that HBO might be churning out, in total, five more Game of Thrones spinoff series. However, with the exception of House of The Dragon, the other four spinoffs have not yet been confirmed.

With that being said, Gonzales also notes that House of The Dragon will be adapted first, and it is set for release in 2022.

There is plenty about Game of Thrones to be enjoyed, so while we wait for more news on these HBO adaptations, take a look at the audiobooks and, if they tickle your fancy, the original book series! Also, if you’ve already read the series, consider looking into Martin’s other books–such as Dreamsongs, or Dying of the Light.
