In addition to the upcoming Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them adaptation, Harry Potter fans have been waiting on bated breath for more details on the two-part play, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. While we are still in the dark on what the story entails, Pottermore has just unveiled the play’s very intriguing logo. Pick up your wands and take a look.
The grand reveal happened this afternoon on J.K. Rowling‘s news breaking platform of choice: Twitter. The official Pottermore account posted the image, and Rowling retweeted it, chiming in her approval of the art.
As you can see, the logo depicts a young boy (likely the titular Cursed Child) sitting in a round nest. The nest has two large black wings attached to it. Hmm…a round object with wings attached to it? Kind of like a snitch? Maybe Quidditch could have a role to play in the story.
That’s our two cents, what do you make of this image? Let us know your analysis in the comments.
