Although it’s essentially a superhero-horror movie, it’s not totally mind-boggling for Fox to recruit the guy who directed The Fault in Our Stars for this one. The New Mutants promises some smart teenage angst, budding young romances, and some serious tugging on your heartstrings. Also, Boone’s making a name for himself as a horror director, having just signed on to adapt Stephen King’s The Talisman.

The New Mutants hits theaters on April 13, 2018!
