Get Ready, There’s a Fitzgerald Biopic Coming

Oh, Hollywood, you love to make movies about influential people in the world. Biopics, remakes, you name it, you’re all over it. Your next venture it seems is a biopic on Zelda Fitzgerald. I can’t wait to see what this looks like.

It was just announced that Jennifer Lawrence will be playing Zelda Fitzgerald! It hasn’t been confirmed, but the movie might be directed by Ron Howard (Apollo 13, The Da Vinci Code) and will be called, Zelda. The film will give a unique look into the life of Zelda, wife of F. Scott Fizgerald, who was also a novelist and painter. She was known as the first American flapper and inspired numerous characters for F. Scott.

According to Vulture, “Nancy Milford’s biography, Zelda, is the basis of the project, which has a script penned by Emma Frost (The White Queen).”

What do you think? Is Jennifer Lawrence a good pick for Zelda?
