‘Game of Thrones’ Star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau Has A Suggestion for HBO

‘Game of Thrones’ has been the target of hackers, who have stolen 1.5 terabytes of HBO’s data. The stolen data includes entire episodes of HBO series, cast members’ personal information, and scripts.

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who plays Jaimer Lannister in the hit HBO series has a suggestion for the company in the wake of recent hacking scandals. What is it?

Just give us the hard copies instead of all this email and digital stuff.

Seems sensible. He went on to say:

I think that’s what’s going to happen in a few years’ time, because you know, you talk to cops on the street, ‘What’s the biggest crime now?’ It’s all credit card fraud. It’s all that stuff. It’s digital. So we got to go back to cash.

As it stands, this is merely a suggestion and there is no indication that HBO plans to regress to hard copy any time soon.

Last week, four individuals were arrested in India in connection with leaking season 7, episode 4, ‘The Spoils of War.’

The show has recently drawn criticism from the online community as well as high profile actors such as John Boyega for its lack of diversity. In previous seasons, some have also criticized the show for what some see as excessive and unnecessary amounts of sexual violence and violence against women.

However, despite the criticism and the leaks, ‘Game of Thrones’ continues to surge in popularity. It even broke its own ratings record with ‘Spoils of War,’ which attracted 10.2 million viewers
