Natalie Dormer has just been announced as the new narrator for J. K. Rowling’s newest audiobook, Harry Potter: A History of Magic. So fans of both Game of Thrones and Rowling’s own hallmark series can equally enjoy a piece of singular work.

Dormer will not be narrating a story or plot of the series, but instead will be narrating a book about the monsters, creatures, magical items, and primary characters as a textbook and guidebook for the lore. As any fan knows, J. K. Rowling’s series is incredibly expansive and immersive. Many things are referenced in the original books and movies that were not given very thorough backgrounds. This newest addition proves to give even more knowledge into the world of wizardry.
Although it has only just been announced that Dormer would be working on the project, Harry Potter: A History of Magic is scheduled to release sooner than later. The audiobook will come out on October 4th and on the same day, The New York Historical Society Museum and Library is holding an exhibit of the same name and theme, so be sure to check that out as well!
