‘Game of Thrones’ Jaime Lannister Actor Earned $1 Million Dollars Per Episode of Season 8

It’s no question that the entire recurring cast of Game Of Thrones makes a hefty profit off of each episode. It was estimated that at one point the cast made at least $500,000 per episode for particular seasons. However, there is one among them that stands out to make a lot more money than the rest.

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau plays the character Jaime Lannister, and, just as the Lannisters are known throughout Westeros for their immense wealth, so is Coster-Waldau. The actor was recently given a huge raise from $942,857 per episode of the seventh season, to a whopping $1,066,667 per episode in the eighth and final season. That’s well over $8 million dollars already, and the actor may receive even more in the weeks and moths to come.

Coster-Waldau is happy with the ending of Game Of Thrones. In an article with The Huffington Post, the actor stated:

I wrote the writers when I finished reading and just said, ‘I don’t think you could’ve done a better job at finishing this story. To me, it was very satisfying but also very surprising and all the things that I was hoping for. It still made sense. It wasn’t like one of those where the killer is suddenly revealed in the last act and you go, ‘Oh! I didn’t see that coming.’ Here, they’ve done a really, really good job.

Game Of Thrones is scheduled to come back to audiences in early 2019. For those of you who can’t wait, here’s a preview that the developers decided to release.
