We are all in love with People We Meet On Vacation and a movie that follows Poppy and Alex on their next summer vacation is definitely going to be amazing. Emily Henry sent out touching words in her Grocery List email (seriously, go subscribe!). She said,
“We have our script. And I love it so much that when I finished reading and set it aside, I just started weeping. I felt seen in the exact way that Alex’s story made Poppy feel seen.”

Gushing yet? The author continued,
“It’s like Yulin reached into my heart and brain and pulled these characters outside of my body. She knows them better than I do at this point, I think. She wrote new jokes that felt so perfectly attuned to them.”

She ended her subscriber email with a thank you to all of us for being on this wild ride with Alex, Poppy, and herself. I hope she knows we will stay on it forever. She also included her latest grocery item. Does the name make sense now?
