Double Cormoran Strike News

J.K. Rowling‘s got some exciting things for us in the works. Under the pen name, Robert Galbraith, Rowling has written a series of crime novels. The Cuckoo’s Calling, The Silkwormand Career of Evil all feature a lead detective by the name of Cormoran Strike.

It was announced today that BBC will adapt Galbraith’s novels into a series with Tom Burke as Cormoran Strike! Yes, Tom Burke, Alan Rickman’s godson…aka Professor Snape.

The Leaky Cauldron also released information that the fourth installment of Galbraith’s series will debut next year.

Via Twitter, Rowling has been answering fan questions, discussing politics, and releasing news about her work. A particular set of FAQs made its way into Rowling’s twitter bio.

No one knows who asked Rowling the original FAQ questions, but a twitter user attempted to guess them all, but couldn’t figure out #3.

The Leaky Cauldron speculates that it has to do with Sirius Black being alive. Yepp! You read that correctly. SIRIUS BLACK? ALIVE? Impossible? Perhaps. But with the wizarding world always presenting us with new surprises, who’s to say?
