Book Culture Bookstagram Just For Fun

Welcome back to Bookstagrammer of the Week, where we here at Bookstr feature one incredible individual sharing their love for books and their creativity through their bookstagram accounts each week. This week’s bookstagrammer is Dani/@dmcireads! Her vibrant, rustic, fun, and cozy feed will inspire your next read, or maybe your own creativity, in the same way that the bookstagram community inspires her.

Why did you start your bookstagram?

It truly inspires me so much to have a bookstagram account. When I started, it was simple, and I was just trying my best to be creative. Then, I met so many people and seeing their photos triggered me to be serious and make my feed more bookish! I was inspired by so many people and how they show their love for books – it made me do it too.

Where are you from?

I’m from the Philippines!

Actually, there’s nothing special about my content. As long as I continue my creativity and show my love for books, and as long as people love what they’re seeing in my content, I’m happy.

Aesthetic/Instagram page theme:

I’m trying to have very rustic vibes in my photos.

Advice for aspiring bookstagrammers:

Just be yourself. Don’t stress too much about what content to post or how to make a photo perfect. Also, don’t stress out too much about algorithms! Everything you do with love will always be perfect. Also, talk to the other bookstagrammers out there. They always share their tips on how to make your feed as beautiful and aesthetic as you want it to be! Making friends is always the best part of this community! I’ve learned so much from this community, not just about books, but also about the reputation and culture of each individual as well!

Oh, also join photo challenges! They will help you to be more creative!

Additional bookishness:

I’m a moody reader and a slow reader, but that didn’t get in the way of reading the books I love. I sometimes join book clubs and read-a-thons! I also love to hoard books, and it’s always fun!
