Harry Potter fans are excited for the news that the book that started it all, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone,  (Sorcerer’s stone to American readers) will be read by Wizarding World actors and other famous stars FOR FREE. What better way to kick off the series than having Harry Potter himself, Daniel Radcliffe, read the very first look at Privet Drive.

Each week a new star will read a new chapter, from now until mid-summer. The 17 chapters will be read by the likes of Stephen Fry, Eddie Redmayne, Dakota Fanning, and even David Beckham. The first chapter is read by the beloved actor who played the titular Harry Potter in the franchise.  More star readers will be announced soon, which is okay with us because we are still trying to get over the excitement of the readers that were already announced.

You can access this experience via video and audio at Harry Potter at Home and/or exclusive audio on Spotify. Grab your wands, house scarves, and even some warm butterbeer, so you can cozy up to your favorite story being read by stars that brought it to life.
